2012 Vendor Registration

We were SOLD OUT of vendor space,

both inside and outside, as of 08 Nov. 2011!

  • The basic theme of Seedy Saturdays is the preservation of biodiversity particularly within our food supply.  
  • Our primary activity is the SEED SWAP; followed by providing access to local seed and plant vendors, and educational speakers.
  • Generally we have taken a broad view of the issue and also included several gardening related vendors and displays.  
  • Food preservation and preparation using fresh, natural ingredients would be appropriate provided there is a clear demonstration that the products were not the result of industrial style processing: for instance displays of the herbs and other ingredients that you use would help people understand how your product line relates to Seedy Saturday.
  • Seedy Saturdays are educational functions not just craft fairs or simple marketing events.

PLEASE NOTE:

You are not actually registered until we have received your payment in the mail

and you have received confirmation of your registration.

Please also note that as participation is by invitation we reserve the right to refuse to accept an application.

  • Cheques must be payable to Qualicum Beach Seedy Saturday Association.
  • Confirmation of registration will be sent on receipt of you payment and written receipts provided at the event.
  • Please check at the administration desk on arrival at the Civic Centre BEFORE setting up.
  • If you are donating a door prize please deliver it to the registration desk before 10 am.
  • A program will be provided for the public. If you wish to have something specific briefly mentioned
    please include the information with your registration form.
  • Registrations received late will not be included in the catalogue and MIGHT NOT BE ACCEPTED due to space limitations.
  • If you have special considerations please contact the above ASAP.
  • Some table skirting is available from the Civic Centre.
  • Floor coverings are required if placing damp plants/pots on the floor.
  • Once unloaded, please park at the far West end of the Civic Centre parking lot to allow for customer
    parking. Rain cover for those choosing an outdoor site is the vendor's responsibility.
